GoGrad Rankings

GoGrad is proud of the fact that our team spent months collecting and analyzing data from government sources as well as hundreds of colleges and universities to identify the very best not-for-profit, online graduate programs. Why? We wanted to see which grad programs offered students the best combination of academic quality, accommodation, guidance and affordability. For our master’s program rankings, the criteria and scoring are as follows:

General criteria:
  • Must offer an online degree in related subject area
  • Public or private, not-for-profit institutions only
Scoring Metrics:
  • Number of online graduate degrees available in related subject area
  • Graduate tuition
  • Availability of academic & career counseling services
  • Availability of job placement services
  • GoGrad Peer-Based Value (PBV*)

*PBV: A proprietary metric that compares the cost of a program to the cost of other programs with the same (or a similar) qualitative score. It also compares the qualitative score of the program to the score of other programs with the same (or a similar cost). In short, the PBV calculation denotes the overall value or “bang for your buck” of an online degree.
